If somebody calls you a name it's like the lowest and lamest thing they can do because honestly they are so stupid that they can't even think of anything else to say. It's really hard for people to think clearly when they are busy being a total pain in the ass and immature. Some people are mean and have to make other people feel bad in order to make themselves feel good. This comes from deep seeded insecurities and chances are this person is either jealous of you or doesn't feel good about their own life. People say you can't fire with fire and this is probably true but you CAN fight fire with a nuke and completely demolish them. This can't be done half ass. You need to have something smarter, funnier and better to say in response. If somebody launches a fire on you like calling you a name, you have a few options. You can call them another name back ie: "you're a bitch" "well you're a douche-bag"..and you walk away thinking you could have said something better than that. So why not be prepared? Remember, assholes and mean self-centered people walk this planet every day. Chances are sooner or later you're going to have to deal with one. You can always ignore them but that doesn't always make them go away and then you regret not telling them off. You can take the high road and simply tell them straight out that you won't drop to their level. Or you can nuke them with something better.
Ignoring them:
- Say -"can you go away please, I will ignore you later"
- Pretend they aren't even there and then walk away
Acknowledge:
- Look them straight in the eye and laugh and then walk away
- Say "Thank you" sarcastically and smile
- Smile and laugh at them and say "classy" and then walk away
- Glare at them, smile and shake your head and walk away
- Say "I have some colorful names I would like to call you in response, but I think I'm gonna be the better person and not drop myself down to your pathetic level of lameness"
- "I'm sorry what did you say? I have an ear disease called I don't care"
- "I hope your day is as pleasant as you are"
Burns: These are what I call "nukes", they are kind of mean and should be used with caution.
"If I throw a stick, will you leave?"
"You should do some soul-searching. Maybe you’ll find one".
"Someone got up on the wrong side of the cage this morning"
"Out of millions of sperm, you were the fastest?"
"Shouldn't be out on a ledge somewhere"
